CHRIS HEYWORTH, BA(Hons)
Director and Co-Owner
Chris practiced as a financial planner in Melbourne for over 30 years assisting his clients to achieve their lifetime financial goals. Initially working in his own business, Chris joined with two other financial planners to form the Pentad Group in Camberwell (Victoria). When the Pentad Group became part of The Investment Collective, Chris joined the parent company board as a Director and remained in that role until that business’ sale in 2023.
Chris is particularly interested in researching strategies that incorporate a wide range of important life matters particularly those involving family and business succession planning. He now brings those skills to Moneta Super to show trustees how they, with their advisers, could use their SMSF to achieve greater benefits for themselves and their families.
Having qualified in the UK as an accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) Chris also held the designation of Certified Financial Planner. Earlier career experience includes mainstream accounting and audit roles with multi-national commercial enterprises in a variety of locations.

Russell Warmington DipFP
Director and Co-Owner
Russell Warmington, has extensive corporate knowledge having worked for 24 years at Hewlett Packard, both in Australia and the United States in various positions including Sales Management , Training and Development and Human Resources. On leaving Hewlett Packard Russell became a Financial Adviser, having a passion for helping people manage their wealth better. In 2001 he along with two other partners formed the Pentad Group, a Boutique Financial Planning firm based in Camberwell. Russell became Managing Director of Pentad in 2003, and continued in that position until the company was sold to Capricorn Investment Partners in 2013.
Moneta Super is now benefitting from Russell’s management and people skills. His most valuable contribution is to ensure Moneta Super continues to develop as an effective and solid business offering high levels of technical knowledge and service to its clients

Ken Maher MBus, BA(Admin), Grad Dip DP, Dip FP
Co-Owner
After careers totalling more than 32 years in policing, military (RAAF) and senior local government Ken started in financial planning in 1996 as an adviser. After running his own business, he merged with the Pentad Group in Camberwell becoming a part owner of that business in 2005. Since ceasing client advising after more than 18 years when the Pentad Group was sold Ken provided services to various financial services businesses as an external contractor in compliance roles.
Ken’s tertiary education is broad covering management, public administration, change management, computing and financial planning. After ‘retiring’ he completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. His work experience included law enforcement, unit personnel management (as it was called in those days), staff positions, project support, process re-engineering and implementation, publications management and logistics systems. As a financial planner Ken had a keen interest in family wealth management particularly in assisting wealth to pass between generations.
Ken brings skills developed from his experience and education to Moneta Super to assist in developing its services and promoting them to potential customers.

Monica Wang MPracAcc (Monash), BBus (RMIT), CPA
Manager – SMSF Specialist Services & Co-owner
Monica began her career as an external auditor in 2006 and has accumulated over 18 years of experience in the accounting industry. Throughout her career, she has specialized in superannuation, channeling her expertise and passion into this area. Known for her problem-solving skills, Monica excels as a technical specialist, focusing on delivering effective and compliant solutions to meet her clients’ superannuation needs. Her strong auditing background ensures meticulous attention to detail, keeping her work aligned with ATO requirements and SIS Regulations.
Monica is a qualified CPA, an accredited SMSF specialist adviser, a registered tax agent and an ASIC registered self-managed super fund auditor.

Aimee Yunarsa BA (Deakin), MComm (Accounting) (Adel)
Administration
Since graduating with a Masters in 2007, Aimee has developed experience in many sectors. Starting out at a tax accounting firm in Adelaide, she has also worked in TAFE admin, before moving on to become a payroll officer at an international HR firm in Perth. She has even worked in wedding planning.
Upon returning to Melbourne and becoming a mother, she took time off to focus on raising her daughter and was heavily involved in school functions. But she has recently decided to make a move back into the financial industry. Being a calm and client-centric person, she will be able to assist you with your queries and point you in the right direction.
